NEW MOON ON MONDAY ASTROLOGY
HOROSCOPES FOR DECEMBER 22-28 2008

**If you know your Rising and Moon signs, read for those as well!**

GENERAL FORECAST
It’s the time of the season. Yesterday’s Winter Solstice brought the Sun into Capricorn to join Mercury, Jupiter and Pluto and by the end of this week Mars and the Moon will be there as well. Capricorn is an Earth sign that’s all about ambition and forging ahead – doing whatever it takes to reach the top of our mountains. This is the kind of energy that will be dominating the next few weeks. Saturn, the planet that rules Capricorn, will be turning Retrograde next week in Virgo, another Earth sign and staying that way for the next five months. Planets going Retrograde are all about revisiting past situations and getting second (and third!) chances to get something right. With Saturn involved, it will be all about establishing and re-establishing our foundation. Mercury, the planet that represents communication, will also be turning Retrograde in the next two weeks and revisiting territory in Capricorn – time to get our shit together!

On a lighter note, Venus the Grace and Neptune, the planet that represents our imagination and unconscious, among other things, will be hooking up this weekend in Aquarius, an Air sign that’s a lot about humanitarianism and what we can do to help all the people around us. This, in conjunction with Saturday’s New Moon in neighboring Capricorn, will be putting a more compassionate spin on the holidays. There’s sure to be gold wherever you look for it! Be Well.

ARIES
It’s all about priorities. Trying to do too many things at once will only scatter your energies. Use the New Moon in Capricorn to make some resolutions about where you’d like to be a year from now, and what you need to do to get there. Some hints come this weekend as your Mars ruler makes his first contact with Pluto in Capricorn, a sign that’s all about plowing through and doing the right thing. You’re more than capable of being responsible while staying true to your sense of spontaneity and this is the week you get a chance to prove that to yourself.

TAURUS
Keep your eyes on the real prize. Something very strong is guiding you toward your true potential this week: you have support from Mercury (Communication) and Saturn (Foundation) in fellow Earth signs, and you get your gumption back this weekend when Mars (Energy) joins the other planets in Capricorn. Look for things and people that you hope will be around for many years to come – that’s where you should be focusing. Your Venus ruler moves into a friendly Water sign next week: by then things get better with the love stuff.

GEMINI
The next few weeks are all about organizing your most out-there thoughts. Your Mercury ruler making supportive moves toward both Saturn and the planet Uranus gives you the impetus to do just that, and the hookup between Venus and Neptune in a fellow Air sign throws even more fuel on your already hyperactive imagination. Next week Mercury will join Neptune in Aquarius, bringing clarity as well as creativity. Mars leaving Sagittarius, your opposite sign, helps calm your nerves and whatever you’ve been getting all worked up about. Happy Holidays!

CANCER
Mars joining a team of planets, all in your opposite sign could be bringing some cold hard reality, and you’re trying to escape by getting lost in your own imagination. But Saturday’s New Moon in Capricorn brings the perfect chance to use your sensitivity toward the good of others: you have the power to bring all sorts of comfort to those around you this Christmas, and doing so will only help to heal yourself. Chatty Mercury makes contact with the planet Uranus in a fellow Water sign: expect one of these people to be someone completely unexpected.

LEO
Your Sun Ruler hooked up with powerful Pluto overnight, bringing the beginnings of a brand new, very important chapter. Use this week to do whatever you must to help get it started. People who’ve been waiting to hear from you will be so glad you did. The merger between Venus and Neptune in your opposite sign has you looking for attention in all the wrong places. Turn the focus back to yourself and you’ll be able to find a fresh start. The Moon in a fellow Fire sign over the holiday means nothing but the best of times. Have fun!

VIRGO
This week your world won’t get turned upside down. With more and more planets in a fellow Earth sign you’re having an easier time losing the chaos and getting things back to normal again. The New Moon in Capricorn helps you to see all the ways you’ve begun to use your courage to push past limits that have been holding you back for years. You’ll have even more chances to prove this starting next week when Saturn turns Retrograde for five months at the height of your sign.

LIBRA
Keep your balance. The more you let small problems trip you up, the more they can snowball and steal your self-confidence. This week’s New Moon in a challenging sign is all about proving how well you’re able to get it all done. The test is in making sure you know this for yourself. This will be a theme for you until mid-Spring, so don’t be too hard on yourself, and by all means don’t try to be perfect. Your Venus ruler hooks up with Neptune, the planet that rules our imagination. This happens in Aquarius, a fellow Air sign, and can only mean a prettier spin on all your holiday plans. The best part is, you totally deserve it.

SCORPIO
Pluto, the planet that rules you, is visited by both the Sun and Mars this week, bringing another turn in the spotlight. Be creative: you’re trying to get the attention of someone specific but it’s crucial that it be the absolute best kind of attention. You’re scared of speaking up for fear of saying the wrong thing but it’s important to jump in anyway. Use your words. By next week, you’ll be glad you did. All New Moons are perfect for beginnings and this one is likely the beginning of a very important relationship.

SAGITTARIUS
No strings attached. Mars is the last of the planets to leave your sign for Capricorn at the end of this week. You’re free to wander about, just the way you like it. The Moon in your sign over the holiday brings simpatico vibes from all the people you’re celebrating with, and the merger between Venus and Neptune in friendly Aquarius is even more about the best of times. Saturn turning Retrograde from a challenging place next Wednesday could bring the need to revisit some heavy responsibilities. Have as much fun as you can right now.

CAPRICORN
With a whole team of planets ganging up in your sign, you’re feeling the weight of the world. Use the energy to keep being productive, or it can easily turn into fear. Try not to be too conservative with your resources, or your affection. The New Moon in your sign is pushing you to see beyond people’s actions to their true motives, and this is increasing your compassion a thousand percent. Your Saturn ruler is about to turn Retrograde in Virgo, a fellow Earth sign, for the next five months. By next Summer you’ll be seeing clearly what this is all for.

AQUARIUS
What you’re going through right now is all about teaching you something you’ll very much use in the New Year. As soon as next month you’ll be getting to bigger places and taking things to levels that right now you’re only dreaming about. The hookup between Venus and Neptune in your sign is bringing a shiny new circumstance that will be growing strong until September of 2009. Remember what’s going on right now so you can reference it next fall. This week you’re able to formulate the very best kind of plans. Cheers to your big ideas.

PISCES
Neptune, the planet that rules you, merges with the grace of Venus just as the Moon turns New in a friendly sign, and this puts a better spin on the entire situation. Mercury sends you good vibes on Christmas Eve, helping you turn any connections you’ve been making into important bridges to further opportunity. The only danger this is in being too complacent. Things are going so right you’re hesitating to make any new moves, but this week, that’s exactly what you should be doing. Even the tiniest baby step is about to take you to way better places.

Horoscopes for December 15 - 21 2008

**If you know your Rising and Moon signs ~ read for those as well! **

GENERAL FORECAST
Mars challenges Saturn this afternoon, bringing demanding situations back to the front of the class. Whatever responsibilities you put off over the weekend are likely to rear their heads today. Take care of what you must and know that the rest of the week will be primarily about how you’re feeling and reacting to what’s happening right now. In other words, it’s all in your mind. If you’ve been on the right track it should be easy to see all that you’ve accomplished since Thanksgiving. If not, it will be tempting to focus on other people’s shortcomings instead. The Sun’s move into Capricorn early Sunday morning brings the Winter Solstice. Big changes are on the horizon, and next week’s New Moon means a much-needed fresh start.

ARIES
You can get all the work done, as long as you find the creative spin. Make your to-do list into a game and you’ll find yourself checking things off faster than you’re hoping for. Use this week to do as much as you can while energy is on your side. Big times are ahead as both the Sun and your Mars ruler join several planets in Capricorn, a sign that challenges your own. Your responsibilities won’t be disappearing any time soon, but the more you learn to keep them under control right now the better off you’ll be by the end of the year.

TAURUS
You’re seeing only what you want to see in a personal situation and giving it way too much attention. Bring the focus back to your own actions, rather than the other people involved. You don’t accept second best from anybody else and you shouldn’t be accepting it from yourself. The Sun’s move into a fellow Earth sign over the weekend brings you a better sense of direction. Keep the focus on where you’d like to end up. You’ll be ready to get going as soon as next week’s New Moon. By then Energy, Discipline, Power and Luck will all be on your side.

GEMINI
Last week’s big news is still heavy on your mind, and you could be getting angry about it – but chances are you’re choosing to look the other way instead. Support from Venus and Neptune in a fellow Air sign makes it all too easy to get lost in the love stuff. Or better yet, the creativity. The next few weeks will be bringing plenty of support to your artistic pursuits – start thinking of new ways you can express the things you’ve been going through, it’s time to start getting it out. The Sun leaves Sagittarius, your opposite sign, bringing a big sigh of relief. You’re about to have a wonderful weekend.

CANCER
Don’t panic: the discipline is there but it’s up to you to find and use it. Things are becoming more obvious as the Sun joins Pluto, Jupiter and Mercury in Capricorn, your opposite sign. You’re feeling the heat from every direction but it’s important to realize there’s plenty of help available all around you. All you have to do is ask for it. You’ve had to make some heavy adjustments in the name of cooperation lately and this is the week you see just how well that’s paying off.

LEO
Use the support from Mars and your Sun ruler in a fellow Fire sign to get as many things done as you can toward the beginning of the week. The Sun’s move into Capricorn and subsequent hookup with Pluto are bringing some powerful changes, and chances are, you can already sense just where and how things will be different as soon as the end of this year. Remember it’s about having the courage to be 100% completely you, and stand solid behind what you believe. The more you can give this to yourself the more you’ll be able to share it with the people you love.

VIRGO
The challenge from Mars toward Saturn in your sign brings the last echoes of the problems you’ve been facing lately. But by now you’re more confident about the situation. This week’s energy could turn into anger, or it can be used to motivate all the people around you to help you get something constructive accomplished. It’s up to you to control it, but with Saturn in your sign that is coming easier and easier these days. Things will be improving generously as soon as this weekend when the Sun joins up with other planets in Capricorn, a fellow earth sign.

LIBRA
The good news is you’re more than able to deal with whatever’s popping up in a way that’s more creative than confrontational. The challenge is in keeping your head on straight. This week you’re tempted to ignore, or even resist authority, and as more and more planets move into Capricorn you’re being faced with more and more demands. Get ready to face up to some big changes that will hit hard as soon as next week when the Sun merges with powerful Pluto. Choose competence over confusion.

SCORPIO
You’re back to blending in. The biggest challenge right now is in not giving too much energy to illusions that have been testing you for days. Make sure you’re seeing what’s actually in front of you or you could find yourself exposed once again as soon as next week, when both the Sun and Mars move into Capricorn and merge with your Pluto ruler. You’re about to be given a tremendous amount of energy and now is the time to plan how you’re going to use it.

SAGITTARIUS
Everything’s about to fall into place, but it’s up to you to take the initiative. The last days of Mars in your sign brings a good opportunity to get things done, but a challenge from Saturn the Authority could mean you want absolutely nothing to do with what you should be doing. Find the way to focus. Your imagination is on overdrive this week, but used the right way it can enable you to get it all together and give this chapter a definitive end. The more you can do that now, the more room you’ll have to enjoy yourself next week, which is all about the good times.

CAPRICORN
Something you’ve learned in the last few weeks is pushing you toward helping others over pursuing your own ambitions right now. It’s all about what you can do for the people around you. This is the time to surround yourself with friends, family, and the entire community and look for ways you can improve things for everyone’s benefit. This goes far beyond giving advice. People will remember your kindness in the coming days. The Sun’s move into your sign Sunday morning marks the beginning of a brand new chapter and Mars is soon to follow. Next week: everything hits at once.

AQUARIUS
You’ve reached a new level of confidence in the way you’re living and this is the week you learn to use it right. You’re looking for genuine experiences more than meaningless encounters right now, and attachments more than just attention. As Venus and Neptune merge closer together at the height of your sign you’re more able to see just how you can make that experience out of things you encounter in your day-to-day world. It’s all about perfecting your perspective.

PISCES
The resources are out there but it’s up to you to find them. Mars in a challenging sign continues to zap your energy but your thoughts are having no problem running a race and you’re having a hard time reining them in. Finding your focus is the main test this week. Remember that it’s not so much about what you have as much as what you’re doing with it, and you’ll soon see all the ways you can turn what’s confusing you now into something completely creative.

Horoscopes for December 8 - 14 2008

**If you know your Rising and Moon signs, read for those as well! If you'd like to be on the mailing list, please email me at NMOMA08@gmail.com**

GENERAL FORECAST
We’ve all got some big work to do and things are about to come to light. The Sun gets up to all sorts of business this week, making contact with both the discipline of Saturn and the chaos of the planet Uranus. Struggles between authority and rebellion that have been building since October reach defining moments, and something unexpected is bound to change the rules for us all. The people who accept the changes will be the most likely to find success, but there are sure to be those who hold on too tight. The Full Moon in Gemini happens Friday morning, right before Mercury, the planet that rules Gemini, moves from Sagittarius to Capricorn and hooks up with transformative Pluto. Thoughts are sure to be racing. Watch out for a gregarious weekend: by then people will be all about escaping into daydreams and debauchery.

ARIES
You’re about to get some absolutely crucial information. Mercury’s move from a supportive role to a challenging one makes it important to process whatever comes up in a healthy and objective way. Look for how whatever happens this week is creating exactly the space you need. Friday’s Full Moon in friendly Gemini could bring some small but interesting twists, or even a short-term, fairy-tale romance. Make sure you see the good stuff.

TAURUS
Challenges from both your Venus ruler and Neptune could be bringing some issues with the love stuff. Stay focused on the big picture over the next few weeks, which are better for preparation than action. You’ll be back to the real work by the end of the year. For now it’s important to make sure you’re ready. Use this time to get in touch with anybody you’ve been putting off. Mercury’s move into a supporting role early Friday morning means you get your words back.

GEMINI
It’s going to be an intense week. The gregarious Full Moon in your sign happens right as your Mercury ruler moves into Capricorn to merge with powerful Pluto. Accept big changes with your usual curiosity, and know that grace is still on your side. The things that happen outside of your control right now are reflecting adjustments you’ve been meaning to make for yourself.

CANCER
Everybody’s talking at you. Mercury’s move into your opposite sign brings vigorous communications, and with Pluto involved, the words are sure to be powerful. If you’re looking for trouble, you’re liable to find it. Avoid feeling too thin-skinned by keeping your mind more on your to-do list and less on the sensitive debates. Getting things done is the best remedy for forgetting how you feel about it.

LEO
Friday’s Full Moon in friendly Gemini ushers in a weekend full of people to see and places to go. Make the most of this because the next few weeks could be more about playing it solo. You’re seeing evidence all around you of the current struggle between Authority and Rebellion. Watch out for something completely unexpected that changes all the rules. The good news is that whatever comes up is giving you creative ammunition you’ll be able to use for a long time to come.

VIRGO
You’re looking for a tangible foundation, the place where everything makes sense. Remember that it’s all about your perspective and you’ll find the way to stay cool and collected this week as the Full Moon in confrontational Gemini shines a bright light on all the challenges you’re going through. You’re learning new and better ways to stand up for yourself. The habits you’re forming right now will stay with you long after this situation’s passed you by.

LIBRA
You’re getting some bonus attention this week. Venus, the planet that rules your sign, is sitting pretty in Aquarius, a fellow Air sign. This brings some good times and high highs, especially during this weekend’s Full Moon in Gemini, also an Air sign. Use the energy to get out and about and make the most of it. Mercury’s move into challenging Capricorn and consequent merge with Pluto is bringing big news to the picture. The next few weeks will put the focus on becoming prepared. It’s a lot more about speaking up for what you need and a lot less about the manners.

SCORPIO
Just because you get found out doesn’t mean you need to change what you believe. This is the time to be absolutely proud of the things that make you different. Certain things about your make-up that don’t conform to those around you are being exposed, and Mercury’s meeting with your Pluto ruler means people will be talking all about it. There are plenty of ways to make this energy work for, rather than against you. Use the recognition to make new connections, by the end of the year you’ll be glad you did.

SAGITTARIUS
Sagittarians aren’t known for being homebodies, but this week you’re all about staying shut in. There's something big you're trying to make sense of. A challenge from Saturn is bringing cold hard reality to the forefront and you could be hiding from the unfamiliar weather by getting lost in self-indulgence. Do your best to wait it out. You’ll have more time and space to think next week when The Sun and Mars leave your sign for Capricorn. By then you’ll be ready to do the work.

CAPRICORN
Think about all the things that are challenging you right now. It’s likely there’s a pattern among them, some repetition that involves whatever you’re having a hard time letting go of. Mercury hooking up with Pluto in the first degrees of your sign brings the first hints of big changes that are stepping up to the plate. It will definitely be necessary to release some old beliefs or habits before the year is through in order to adjust to the new chapter. The Sun’s challenge toward your Saturn ruler puts the focus on where you need a better foundation. Work on making it solid.

AQUARIUS
Last week you got some surprising news. This week that information throws a loop in your whole situation. Luckily Venus in your sign is making you well equipped to deal with things gracefully, and the Full Moon in a fellow Air sign is shining the spotlight on your chance to realize a certain potential. It’s all about making whatever amends you must in order to do the right thing. Ignoring the problem will only lead to recklessness and right now you’re on the way to something much, much better.

PISCES
Last week’s challenges echo loud as both the Sun and Mars challenge the planet Uranus at the height of your sign. The Full Moon from duplicitous Gemini exacerbates the situation and it’s likely that a whole new side of the problem will arise. And you know it don’t come easy. Make whatever small sacrifice you must to keep the peace and you’ll likely get some unexpected and generous rewards as soon as Saturday, when the Sun’s nod to your Neptune ruler brings some balm to a rocky week.

Horoscopes for December 1-7, 2008

**If you know your Rising and Moon signs ~ read for those as well!**

NEW MOON ON MONDAY ASTROLOGY
HOROSCOPES FOR DECEMBER 1-7 2008

GENERAL FORECAST
Venus and Jupiter hooked up in Capricorn overnight, putting focus on the pretty things. If you’ve been looking to get noticed it could very well be happening right now. Communications will be on overdrive this week when Mercury makes contact with both Saturn and the planet Uranus. Watch out for interrupted conversations all over the place and try not to get frustrated when nobody’s getting back to you on time. Also, beware of heated discussions that don’t get resolved: any struggle you’ve been having with authority is about to come to a head when the Sun and Mars move together through that same territory next week. Venus moves into Aquarius for a four-week stay on Sunday afternoon, bringing a more unconventional slant to the love stuff. For the next two weeks, it’s all about strutting your weird side.

ARIES
Pushing your luck. There’s something you’ve been fighting way too hard for and it’s starting to strike back. People around you will remember what you’re doing and saying now for the rest of this season: do your best to keep your lid on - no matter how frustrated you’re feeling. It’s all about learning to understand how you operate. The less impulsive you act this week, the better you’ll fare this weekend when the Moon in your sign brings a fresh dose of the good kind of energy. Venus moving into a friendlier sign Sunday afternoon means better luck with the love stuff for the rest of the month. Patience.

TAURUS
Pluto’s very recent move into a fellow Earth sign is bringing the beginnings of a brand new chapter. It’s going to be more about what makes you better for you and less about the material things. Think about where you’d like to be fifteen years from now and take the time to shape your vision. There are all sorts of unexpected doors and windows waiting to be found, but only if you’re looking for them. That search includes letting go of some long held expectations but remember – the thought of doing this is much, much scarier than the actual process.

GEMINI
Watch your words. Anything that comes out all wrong now could be used against you as soon as next week. Saturn, the planet that rules limits and discipline, as well as the planet Uranus, which represents rebellion and sometimes even chaos, are challenging your Mercury ruler. If you’re having any issues with authority it’s important to find a positive connection to focus on, rather than trying to get your point across in any kind of underhanded way. Venus brings the grace to help you do this by the end of the week, when she moves into Aquarius, a fellow Air sign.

CANCER
Projection. You’re exaggerating the actions of others based on your own subjective perceptions. Dispensing more than your usual share of criticism isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as long as you make sure it’s happening in a constructive way. The sooner you stop being so hard on the people around you, the sooner you’ll find a way to be easier on yourself. Pay attention to the details, but beware of the busy work. Pluto’s move into your opposite sign for a 15 year stay is bringing some big new themes. This week is all about teaching you how to put your power to good use.

LEO
Leo is ruled by the Sun, and this week’s alliance between the Sun and Mars will be amping your energy to a whole new level. Make sure you use the drive in the right ways, or it could come back at you from the outside in. Chances are you’ve been feeling your own personal version of writer’s block for a while now. This is the time to dive in and express the things you’ve been putting off, no matter how much easier it would be save it for another day. You’ll be rewarded for your efforts with some solid conclusions as soon as next week.

VIRGO
You’re all shook up. The wrong things are hitting the wrong nerves and your energy is working against you. Blame it on a series of contacts from the personal planets in Sagittarius, a sign that challenges your own. The good news is the merger between graceful Venus and lucky Jupiter in a fellow Earth sign. This is giving you some strong support: remain as faithful as you can toward the people who’ve always had your back and you’ll easily find the stable ground to stand on.

LIBRA
Your Venus ruler hooking up with lucky Jupiter is bringing something big, and you have to make a difficult choice in the meantime. Support from planets that represent Emotion (the Moon) and Communication (Neptune) means you can put a fairy tale spin on your current relationships, but make sure to stay true without putting anybody up on a pedestal. It’s a lot about how you’re seeing yourself and living up to that perception. Venus entering a fellow Air sign this weekend puts a friendlier spin on the situation: soon enough you’ll know for sure you’re going in the right direction.

SCORPIO
True love will find you in the end. You’re getting used to dealing with the completely unexpected, but having a hard time accessing the imagination side that accepts it’s all a dream come true. The merger between Venus and Jupiter in friendly Capricorn could bring some good luck with the love stuff, but it’s up to you to trust it. Do your best to work through any issues this week or it could turn out to be the calm before the storm. Mercury, the planet that’s all about talk, hooks up with your Pluto ruler next Friday: expect to be explaining yourself all over again.

SAGITTARIUS
You’re having a monster of a time deciding whether to follow the rules or just start all over, and this is the week you’ll have to talk about it. As much as this won’t be an easy conversation, it’s about to bring you to a much better place. Venus hooking up with your Jupiter ruler brings bigger grace to your usual blatant ways, helping you to get your point across. Make the right moves and you’re liable to bring something you’ve only dreamt about into tangible reality. The trick is in staying calm, and not being contrary just for contrary’s sake.

CAPRICORN
The Venus/Jupiter alliance at the height of your sign brings charm and good looks in the biggest of ways. Be ready to be recognized for all the things you’ve been doing right. Mercury’s challenge to your Saturn ruler could bring some hard talking in the meantime. Make sure to choose your words carefully, as whatever comes up this week is liable to be a theme for a long time to come. Venus leaving your sign for Aquarius on Sunday makes this a time for thinking about the good things you’ve found in November, and how you can make use of them in the future.

AQUARIUS
Get used to moving. You haven’t had the gumption you’ve needed in ages, but now that your Uranus ruler has returned to forward motion you’ll be able to find it all over again. This is a good week to revisit resolutions: the Moon in your sign at the beginning of the week is all about fresh starts and the Sun/Mars conjunction in friendly Sagittarius gives you the energy to do it right. Venus moves into your sign Sunday afternoon, giving you a better dose of the grace and all things pretty.

PISCES
The shit’s about to hit the fan. Things you’ve been trying desperately to avoid are coming up in casual conversation, and it’s important to avoid lying by omission. The more up front you can be, the better you’ll stand next week when things that you're talking about right now get pushed even farther into the spotlight. Dig deep. The meeting between Venus and Jupiter in a friendly sign gives you all the support you need to do the right thing.

Horoscopes for October 27 - November 2 2008

**If you know your Rising Sign, read for that as well!**

ARIES: This week is all about experiences that bring adventure but solidify your foundation at the same time. For example, a job or project that brings more work than you’re used to but allows you to travel places you’ve always wanted to go or a new relationship with someone who’s lifestyle is completely foreign but who’s about to bring you everything you’ve been looking for. Chances are good that these experiences will come completely out of the blue. Make sure you’ve got your head on straight and your ducks lined up, and go with what happens. You’re moving in the right direction.

TAURUS: The New Moon in your opposite sign sets off the theme of Ambition. Where do you have too much and what’s it doing for you? What is it doing against you? Watch for something unexpected that gives you a quick and hard lesson about how you’re looking in all the wrong places for something you don’t even need. This is especially important because Neptune – a planet that’s all about dissolving the worldly and material things we just don’t need – is about to turn direct from a challenging sign. Find the real prize, and keep your eyes right there.

GEMINI: Your Mercury ruler makes the last of this season’s three contacts with imaginative Neptune in a fellow Air sign – look for something you’ve been trying to achieve on a creative level since the Fall began to reach its peak this week. Think back to the last half of September and track the steps that led you to where you are now: chances are you’ve come much farther than you’d realized. Take what you’ve been working on to the people who need to see it, hear it, read it or feel it – the energy is right this week for them to do exactly that.

CANCER: Dedicate yourself to the unseen potential. The New Moon in Scorpio, a fellow Water sign brings new life, new love, new ideas all over the place. Anything you imagine can be tapped this week as long as you’re looking for it. It’s all about where you’re letting your feelings take you – whether that’s down to where everything’s safe or out and about to where there’s adventure to be had. Chances are right now you’re leaning in the second direction, and uncharacteristically looking for results that are completely unexpected.

LEO: Be prepared for an overflow of creativity. Mercury and Neptune have one last dance before Neptune turns Direct in Aquarius, your opposite sign. Neptune represents our imagination and the collective unconscious and that planet’s been traveling backwards since the beginning of the Summer – this could well be part of whatever’s been blocking you. The New Moon in Scorpio colors the next four weeks with its energy: the shadow, the hidden, the taboo. Consider how these themes fit into the project you’re currently working on and you’re liable to find a fresh new direction.

VIRGO: The New Moon in a compatible sign is all about fresh starts and resolutions. Take a minute before Tuesday to think about where and how you’d like to get a new lease on a certain situation. Your Mercury Ruler interacting with Neptune gives your creativity a boost, and Mars making a friendly move toward Saturn in your sign gives your energy a giant push to help you along the way. This is the week, and very likely the month you’ll be able to accomplish whatever you set your mind on.

LIBRA: Use this week’s New Moon energy to take a fresh step into your new routines. Neptune turning Direct in a fellow Air sign means your creativity is working with rather than against you. It’s the right time to put something you’ve been wondering about down on paper for once and for all. You’ve got something to give and the more you can express that this week the more you’ll be rewarded. You’ll be on the receiving end as well but try to offer more than you’re taking or it’s bound to catch up with you later.

SCORPIO: The New Moon in your sign is amping your ambition to a whole new level. This is the perfect week to take the first steps toward where you think you should be. Mars in your sign is giving you an extra push toward seeing an extra level of potential. Creative Scorpios may be feeling blocked this week but that should change over the weekend when Neptune returns to Forward Motion. Concentrate on the business side of things until then, you’ll be glad to have it all taken care of.

SAGITTARIUS: The New Moon in Scorpio coincides with a friendly move from energetic Mars toward your Jupiter ruler. If your energy was scattered, or even nonexistent last week, chances are you’re about to get back the gumption and the focus. Neptune returning to Forward Motion helps dissolve any boundaries you’ve put up for alleged self-preservation. The time is right to take big risks you’ve been considering, especially on a creative level: people are ready to listen.

CAPRICORN: The New Moon in Scorpio, a friendly Water sign, is a fresh time to begin a new chapter or readjust something that’s been needing to change. Right now you have the ability to turn your characteristic discipline into something that brings you big experience – but you have to do the work of looking for where that can best happen. This New Moon highlights the resources that we collectively share and this is in perfect alignment with what you’ve been working toward lately: what is it you do best? And how can that help the rest of us?

AQUARIUS: Your temper might be at odds with what you’re trying to accomplish right now– especially when dealing with authority. The New Moon in challenging Scorpio means any themes that surface are likely to persist for the next month or so. Hold your tongue as best you can and wait until next week before taking any action. Neptune in your sign finally returns to forward motion after a five-month Retrograde, and a repeat push from Mercury, the planet that’s all about communication - means your thought process could be on overdrive. Use any extra energy to build on your ideas and be creative; this is the way to avoid any unnecessary temper tantrums.

PISCES: Neptune, the planet that rules you, returns to Forward motion this weekend, helping to push you in the right direction and Tuesday’s New Moon in Scorpio, a fellow Water sign, brings optimal energy for any kind of fresh start. This is a good time to take responsibility for yourself in all the places you’ve been letting someone else be in charge. It’s not that you can’t handle the details, it’s that you haven’t been able to get them straight. But this week brings you a renewed sense of focus and the ability to see what you need to change and the ways you can do it all for yourself.

Horoscopes for October 20 - 26 2008

**If you know your Rising Sign, read for that too!**

ARIES: You’ve been dealing too much with other people’s problems and not giving yourself enough attention. But the Sun moves out of Libra, your opposite sign midweek and Mercury is soon to follow, bringing an end to most of the drama. The next chapter is all about taking a step back and staying put in a place where you can solidify your intentions about the people you love and trust for sure. Think back two weeks, to when something you’re dealing very much with right now first surfaced. Chances are you’ve uncovered new information that’s enabling you to take care of the situation in a way that’s better off for everybody involved.

TAURUS: The Sun enters Scorpio, your opposite sign, putting your focus more on the outside world for the next four weeks. Mars, the planet that represents aggression, is also hanging out in Scorpio, which could lead to possible confrontation between you and another. Accept what the people around you are throwing your way without fighting too hard against it and you’ll be able to see possibilities in places you’d formerly considered dead ends. But remember: ignoring problems, or doing nothing about them, is just a passive form of fighting against. Now’s the time to be proactive.

GEMINI: What was the big issue for you two weeks ago? Chances are it’s about to pop up all over again, but in a way that’s more solid and understandable than it was before. It’s all about processing your previous experience in a way that helps you make sense out of all the things that are constantly changing. This week’s events bring you confirmation about how much you can trust your intuition. Take some time to really study your perspective. The more you know exactly how you process the world around you, the better you’ll know yourself and this is a tool you can use for a million lifetimes

CANCER: The Sun’s move into a fellow Water sign brings nicer energy your way. For the next four weeks people will be thinking with their hearts not just their minds, about compassion more than just the facts, and in terms of safety – not just stabilization. This makes everything a whole lot more palatable for you and you’re liable to feel like you can accomplish what you’ve set out to do more than you have since midsummer. Look for echoes of something you were going through about 2 weeks ago to repeat their confrontation. If you weren’t ready to resolve the situation then, by now you’re completely prepared.

LEO: You’re feeling the mystery. Your Sun ruler contacts Pluto right before moving into Scorpio, the sign that planet rules. Scorpio energy is magnetic, much like your own, but while you attract the pretty things, Scorpio attracts the shadows and all the things we keep buried in our backyard. Look for these themes to represent themselves in your world in the next few weeks. Exploring the darker side can put an important spin on your current projects, very possibly just the thing they’ve been needing in order to get to the next stage. The more you can move with this energy, the more you’ll be ready to make a fresh start in the right place during next week’s New Moon in Scorpio.

VIRGO: The Sun moves into Scorpio this week, bringing the shadows up for all of us. You’ve come to a stronger position in your life where you’re better able to handle the dark and the downs. Think about where you stretched past your limits at the beginning of the month. You’re going through a similar situation this week and you’ll be passing with flying colors. It’s all about being self-assured and right now you’re nothing but. Acknowledge this in yourself and you’ll come up with a thousand ways to use your creativity during next week’s New Moon.

LIBRA: The Sun leaving your sign for Scorpio slows down the action and helps you balance your time. Look at where you’ve been testing your boundaries since the beginning of the month and how that strategy’s been working out for you. Something happens this week that helps you see whether you’re learning to get past the wall or just banging your head against it. There’s a good chance you’re being sentimental for something to the point that it’s blocking you from getting to where you really need to be. It’s all about making the choice to move on.

SCORPIO: Happy Birthday! The Sun entering your sign this week marks the beginning of a brand new chapter. Your year ahead will be full of extra energy and plenty of conversation: look to be a lot more sociable than you’re used to in the coming months. Scorpio is one of the best listeners of the Zodiac but this year you might be expected to give your own side of the story more often than you’d like. Watch for being caught off guard by a very forward question this week, and remember it’s ok to be creative with your answer.

SAGITTARIUS: Resolution. Blatant clues to whatever you’ve been trying to figure out show their faces in one way or another this week. Accept what gets discovered and don’t give yourself too hard of a time for not having seen it before. You’re in the process of making a major change and this is always a two steps forward, one step back kind of dance. Look for a chance to prove yourself in ways you weren’t able to even two weeks ago. You’ve reached a new level of expression and diplomacy. As much as you feel like it’s taking way too long to get to the place you need to be, the more you look the more you’ll see it’s all happening in its own time. Stay with your intentions.

CAPRICORN: Capricorn gets a lot from feeling needed, and these days you’re needed all over the place. The Sun leaves challenging Libra for Scorpio, a friendly Water sign. Remember why you’re doing what you’re doing and keep it up - but be careful of getting on the savior trip. A repeat confrontation between communicative Mercury and Jupiter in your sign gives you another opportunity to prove that you can fit the shoes you’re wearing. If the work you’re doing for others is coming from a sincere place the next few weeks will push your progress forward by leaps and bounds.

AQUARIUS: You’re thinking about all the things you could absolutely be doing better. And you’ve got the distinct feeling everybody else is thinking the same thing. Shadows and gossip are getting in the way of your perfect community. You’re starting to see the dark underbelly of a certain situation but remember – you can only get what you’re looking for if you understand the good and the bad about yourself and whoever else is involved. Next week brings things back to normal, when Neptune returns to forward motion at the height of your sign, having been Retrograde since late May.

PISCES: We’re all in this together. The Sun’s move into a fellow Water sign makes you more able to find compassion from the people all around you. You’re feeling much more capable and less like a victim of circumstance. But something you swept under the rug a few weeks back could be popping up to haunt you all over again at the end of the week. Try to remember exactly what was said and how the facts have changed since then, and use that information to explain yourself to someone who’s thinking you mislead them on purpose.

Horoscopes for October 13 - 19 2008

ARIES: This week brings the annual Full Moon in your sign – a once a year event that might just jump the weirdness to a whole new level. The Full Moon spotlight will show you very clearly where you absolutely need to take a step forward. Aries always dreams large, but lately your fantasies are getting a little too big for even your britches. The solution is to act on something rather than just sitting back and whiling away. This is the week something shows you for sure that you’re the one person who can best push yourself forward. But you’re absolutely not alone: Venus moves into Sagittarius, a fellow Fire Sign this weekend, bringing you much bigger doses of the love.

TAURUS: Your Venus ruler leaves Scorpio, your opposite sign, and moves on to philosophical, thoughtful and well traveled Sagittarius. Do your best to be around people and take advantage of the things she’s trying to show you out in the world. You’ve learned a lot about accepting other’s differences since late September. This is your week to put those lessons into use. The difference between what you want to see and what is actually out there is about to give your own situation a very elevated meaning. You’re able to show everybody else what you really want to show, and have compassion for the things you want to see that go missing.

GEMINI: Your Mercury Ruler turns direct on Tuesday, bringing back energy, clearer thinking and you own forward motion. The last three weeks have shown you something about doing what you’ve gotta do, and you’ve learned to accept your responsibilities in a way that’s about to become a lot more characteristic. Venus moves into Sagittarius, your opposite sign, this weekend, bringing you even more chances to prove what you’ve processed about duty to the people all around you. Show them what you’ve got and they’ll get to know (and respect) this brand new side of you.

CANCER: Ambition is in the air. The Full Moon in Aries has us thinking about what we can start and when we can make it happen. You’re not at all above keeping up with the Jones’s, and this energy has you worrying a little too much about shoulds and oughts. This is a pattern that can lead to feeling discouraged, but it doesn’t have to be that way at all. Checklist your ambitions, stick to the plan, and make plenty of time out for rest and relaxing at home. The Sun moves into Scorpio, a fellow Water sign next week, bringing you an extra dose of support for what you’re trying to accomplish.

LEO: The Full Moon in Aries, a fellow Fire sign, brings back the warmth and the light – both things that represent your basic essence. Mercury’s return to forward motion the very next day is all about giving us the chance to use the thoughts we’ve been collecting. Now is the time to get started on projects you’ve been letting escape you. Venus moving into Sagittarius, also a Fire sign, over the weekend brings much nicer vibes in the love and creative departments, and you’ll be feeling better about your place in this crazy world. Neptune turning direct in your opposite sign of Aquarius next week will amplify the creativity to an even louder level. Now is the time to get started.

VIRGO: The Full Moon plays opening act to Mercury’s return to forward motion this Wednesday. Look closely to see how your ruling planet’s Retrograde has been affecting you for the past three weeks. Have you filled a void from your past you thought was irreplaceable? Have you rediscovered ideas or projects and started working them out in a new way? Now is the time to go with the new ways of thinking that have surfaced in the past month. You’re experiencing some adjustments in your social or romantic life. Remember that the only person you can control is you and nobody else’s flakiness will be able to throw you off course.

LIBRA: This week’s Full Moon is all about how you’re fitting in. It’s a good time to think about how and where you’re letting other people’s opinions of you affect your behavior. Are you spending too much energy trying to be liked? This could be making you afraid of exposing your differences. Mercury returning to forward motion in your sign could be bringing on the déjà vu. Take note of every situation that feels like you’ve been there before and consider what it’s trying to show you. Your Venus ruler leaves Scorpio for Sagittarius: any shadows you’ve been dealing with lately are about to make a whole lot more sense.

SCORPIO: The Full Moon in Aries sheds a light on exactly what we need to do for ourselves. This is an especially potent Full Moon for Scorpio, since Mars, the planet that rules Aries is hanging out in your sign. All that energy has the potential to become anger or aggression, but this is easily avoided if you keep moving: pushing forward and getting a million things done will help you avoid confrontation. Mercury’s return to forward motion and Venus leaving your sign for Sagittarius will help turn down the drama in your personal life. This is the week to take your mind off relationships and put it back on you.

SAGITTARIUS: What’s behind Door Number Three? You’ve been trying to find a brand new direction for a while now and this week there’s a light shining right on the option you should choose. The Full Moon in a fellow Fire sign and Mercury turning Direct both help you to find the right footing. You’re about to cross new frontiers that expand on all you’ve achieved in the past. Venus moving into your sign for the next four weeks is the best news of all. Venus brings a bigger dose of love and grace to your everyday, take any chance you find to use these gifts.

CAPRICORN: The Full Moon in Aries brings everything to a climax, and Mercury returning to forward motion the next day brings the everyday back to normal again. Aries and Libra are both Cardinal signs, like Capricorn, and Cardinal signs are all about leadership and setting our very best example. You’re demanding recognition, but make sure it’s for the things you’ve actually accomplished and not just for things you only value in the moment. There’s definitely a place where you’re the one in charge, make this the week you recognize that.

AQUARIUS: You’re in the middle of a process that’s all about learning what you can do for yourself that helps you be more to the people all around you. This is the perfect week to get out in the world and prove what you’ve mastered so far. The Full Moon in Aries shines bright on what you’ve accomplished, right before Mercury returns to forward motion. By the end of the week you’ll have confirmation that you’re on the right road. Venus moving into Sagittarius brings more opportunities in the social and the love departments. Ways you feel you don’t fit in are about to make you the life of the party.

PISCES: The Full Moon right before Mercury turns direct is bringing strange vibes to everybody around you and that could be bringing out the angst in the pants. If people seem self-centered try to remember the reasons they’re acting this way: chances are they’re mostly concerned with getting their own mess cleaned up so they can get back to a new sense of normal. This is a good idea for you too, no matter how much you’re used to letting the details escape you. Venus leaves Scorpio your fellow Water sign for challenging Sagittarius – watch for small irritations that lead you to avoiding the very people who have the most to teach you.

Horoscopes for October 6 - 12 2008

**If you know your Rising Sign - read for that as well! **

ARIES: There’s something you’ve been meaning to say, but you’re not sure how to say it. This Mercury Retrograde is all about teaching you how and whom to confront when the time is right. If you’re avoiding a particular confrontation, there’s a good chance that same facedown will come back to haunt you from the outside in. Put your thoughts together, in writing or pictures or however best you can and then take those conclusions to the people who most need to hear what you have to say. If you don’t express it now, someone else is liable to say it for you. Next week’s Full Moon in your sign points the spotlight directly on you – do the things you’d like to be remembered for.

TAURUS: This week could bring out of the blue opportunities – but only if you’re looking for them. Venus, the planet that rules you, is making moves toward the planets that represent Foundation (Saturn) and the unexpected (Uranus), creating the kind of energy that’s ripe for stepping up in a way that will surprise even you. Make sure you’re seeing more than just the things you want to see in order to take advantage of this.
Taurus has a habit of being overly idealistic and wanting things to be just so, exactly aligned with their standards. This week could show you just how and where that keeps you from getting to where you really need to be. Trust the other side.

GEMINI: Right now you’re feeling productive as well as creative and the more you’ve been taking advantage of this energy, the more likely you’re about to get the chance to show off your work and get some more exposure. But this reward does have its conditions. Your success brings recognition but not necessarily stability. That’s just fine with you but this week could bring an unexpected problem in a place you’ve been acting less than responsible. Think of it as a learning experience. It’s all about keeping loose ends tied up so you can be free to pursue the things that really matter.

CANCER: Cornered. You’re being forced to make a choice you’ve been doing your best to avoid. It’s important to confirm your big vision beforehand: where you are now, and where you’d like to end up. Map out your pros and cons as soon as you can and you’ll be well prepared when the options present themselves. If you have Happy Endings in mind, it’s important to remember that these are going to turn out for you no matter how much the path you’re presented with this week seems completely foreign and untrustworthy.

LEO: If insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results, you’re headed straight toward the loony bin. Whatever’s holding you back needs to be approached in a completely different way and this is the week you’re able to find a creative solution to make it right. You’re getting a big dose of challenge in your love world or your creative world or maybe even both. Next week’s energy is completely on your side. Pour your heart into new ways of expression and you’ll soon be finding the pot of gold at the end of the tunnel.

VIRGO: These days are all about finding your own footing and learning how to lead the pack. You’re going farther and stretching deeper. While Virgo energy is usually reserved, you’re feeling good about taking some new steps in a relationship or a creative project, and anybody else involved can easily see your confidence. Take note of what’s going on now, as it’s liable to repeat itself. Any discomfort you’re experiencing as a result of your actions will lead to big rewards next week when your Mercury ruler returns to forward motion.

LIBRA: You’re pushing your limits, and with your Venus ruler up to all sorts of action this week, chances are those limits are mostly about the love stuff. As much as you’ve been looking for someone who defies all your expectations, you’ve also been expecting this person to come in a very specific package. There’s something way deeper about a certain individual than you’ve ever noticed before. Watch for unusual experiences and daydreams, and don’t be afraid to take things a step further in a way you usually wouldn’t even consider.

SCORPIO: Mars joins Venus in your sign giving you an extra dose of energy and the gumption you’ve been looking for. Use this to get things done while you’ve got the time, by next week you’re sure to be absolutely surrounded by people. Adjustments in your personal life have you thinking about taking a certain relationship to the next level. Make sure you’re seeing the situation with realistic eyes. You’re feeling more open hearted than ever but this could be leaving you vulnerable. Choosing foundation over your characteristic passion is the better choice this week.

SAGITTARIUS: Don’t be too attached to your to-do list. Everyday frustrations could be on overdrive this week keeping you from fulfilling your obligations on time or getting everything done you’ve been meaning to. Keep some options open for the next few days because you’ll need the extra time to get stuff done but remember - this is a good week to let the shoulds and oughts be, and go with exciting or unusual opportunities. Sagittarius loves nothing more than stepping away from the routine every now and again and in fact needs to go there as much as possible or suffer a sickness of spirit.

CAPRICORN: We all feel guilt sporadically in our lives, but Capricorn has a higher than average capacity to let themselves feel badly when something goes wrong or their visions don’t happen exactly as planned. Saturn is the planet that rules you, and Saturn is all about the weight of the world. Something that happens this week makes you feel like you’ve been going way too far, and it’s important to look at that situation in the most objective way you can, as it’s not going away anytime soon. Venus the grace makes a nod to your Saturn ruler, giving you the ability to handle the problem with love before any misunderstanding leads to catastrophe.

AQUARIUS: Looking in all the wrong places. You’re not seeing something that’s directly in front of you, something that wants very badly to love you back. This is a good week to think about how you might be protecting yourself so much you’re not letting anyone else in, or how you’ve got your head in the clouds so high you’re missing opportunities all around you. There will be plenty of chances to demonstrate the things you figure out, but right now is all about understanding your priorities, and classifying them in a way that will help you work them out one by one.

PISCES: Something you’ve been looking forward to happens in a completely unexpected way. Look for the ways these new developments open doors you’d previously never considered. This is a week it’s hard to keep secrets – be sure you’re being honest with everybody concerned, and this includes not leaving the hard stuff out. The more up front you can be the more you’ll be able to discern the real truths behind any difficult situations. Next week Mercury returns to forward motion, making everything easier to understand for us all.

Horoscopes for September 29 - October 4, 2008

**If you know your Rising Sign, read for that as well**

ARIES: The New Moon in your opposite sign is forcing you to examine what you’re getting out of a certain situation that your partners are not. The next two weeks are good for taking stock of characteristics that need some minor adjustments in order to work for the good of all involved. If you’re looking for ways that other people are getting all the credit for something you feel belongs to you and you alone, you’re sure to find evidence all over the place. The more you can share this spotlight, the more you’ll benefit. Make some room for the rest of us.

TAURUS: It’s about what’s actually happening. Anything you’re seeing just because it’s what you want to see could come back to get you in all the wrong ways as soon as next week. Right now you’re being well supported by planets that represent Meaning and Foundation. This puts you in a place where you’re able to make sense out of what you do encounter in ways that bring you a new level of stability. With Mars joining Venus in your opposite sign, these lessons are likely coming from your closest relationships. Look for any opportunity to rise to the occasion, and try to get there before something forces you to.

GEMINI: You’re well supported by planets in your fellow Air signs – energy that’s likely bringing new and interesting beings and situations into the picture. Share your ideas with as many people as you can and allow yourself to be curious about what they’re coming up with as well. Right now it’s all about brainstorming and firming up details without jumping into the actual process. Use this week to come up with plans A, B and C and you’ll be more prepared than ever before in mid-October, when it’s time to start making stuff happen.

CANCER: Being ruled by the Moon, Cancer is a special sort of sensitive to the “fresh start” energy of any New Moon – use today’s in Libra to commit to your most intimate partnerships. Mars joins Venus in Scorpio – a move that’s likely to bring the shadow side of all our relationships to the forefront over the coming weeks. Understanding the entirety of a union – both the dark and the light – will bring a new level of comfort when all is said and done, and this is what you’re always looking for. Know that you’re ready to handle whatever pops up with energy and grace. It’s all about building up your calm and capable side.

LEO: The focus is on what you need to change in your relationships. Remember this as confrontations arise and you’ll be well prepared to handle the growing pains. Look especially for situations where you feel others are putting you up on a pedestal. If you’re trying to live up to someone else’s unrealistic expectations, you’re likely heading straight towards disappointment for the both of you. Mars joining Venus in a challenging sign can represent force as well as pure, unadulterated energy. Concentrate on finding creative solutions to any misunderstandings and you’re likely to create an undeniable passion as well.

VIRGO: By the second week of a Mercury Retrograde phase, you’re all about adjusting to the circumstances. This time around you’re having more intense feelings than you’re used to, but are more than able to make room for them as long as the intention is there. The good news is that this week there should be a lot less to react to. Keep moving forward and you’re liable to find pleasure in places that usually bring a challenge and a half. Your Mercury Ruler colliding with the Sun early next week will bring the ruminations back to overdrive. In the meantime, make it a point to think less and simply appreciate what you do have.

LIBRA: The New Moon in your sign happens once a year, right around your Birthday, bringing the gifts of fresh chances and brand new starts. This week shows you the first steps in a cycle that’s all about overcoming challenges with your usual diplomacy and an added dose of authority as well. Venus, the planet that rules you is up to lots of activity for the next two weeks, bringing plenty of celebration and to-do. Play up your differences, take advantage of any new opportunity, and remember to keep your daydreams in check.

SCORPIO: Mars joins Venus in your sign on Thursday, bringing another kind of energy into the mix. Look for increased motivation, heightened action and even more opportunities to improve your relationships. Mars, the God of War, also has the reputation of being angry or even vengeful. Make sure you keep a lid on any fighting words, and remember that the more attention you can pay to your own situation, the more you’ll be able to right things for those close to you as well. Expect this theme to last through the end of the month, and make a note to look back and compare where you are now to where you get by then.

SAGITTARIUS: The more you notice the good stuff, the more good stuff there is to see. Today’s New Moon in Libra brings brand new beginnings for all of us, especially where relationships are concerned. Those of you looking to connect should keep your eyes wide open, and those of you who are quite attached should find fresh ways of working out old kinks. Venus approaches your Jupiter ruler this weekend with nothing but nice things to say. Take advantage of this energy as much as you can, but remember it's constantly changing. Wait until the end of the month to make any permanent commitments.

CAPRICORN: Pluto will be making the grand entrance into your sign for a 20-year stay at the tail end of November. In the meantime you’re all about preparing for that time which will be forcing you to take charge and command the power you deserve. Make it a point to get out and about this weekend when Venus points her grace toward big luck Jupiter in your sign just before the Moon too moves into Capricorn. This is weather that could bring the circumstances you’ve been searching for. Play hard.

AQUARIUS: Mars and Venus teaming up in a challenging sign during the Mercury Retrograde could be conjuring shadows, bringing up things you thought were long forgotten to mess with your social life. Don’t let this energy shut you away from the rest of the world. Remember that it’s just the weather and you’ll be able to coast past any drama with ease. Today’s New Moon in a fellow Air sign is all about a breath of fresh air. You’ve been feeling stuck or stifled, but this is the week you let yourself break past what you now realize are entirely self-created boundaries.

PISCES: Look for fresh starts all over the place beginning as soon as today’s New Moon. Mars joining Venus in Scorpio, a fellow Water sign, amps your energy, giving you the gumption you need to get to work on your current projects. Take as much time out as you can for creative play this week and you’re sure to find even more ideas you can use. Activity between Venus and your Neptune ruler next week could bring the kinks into the spotlight. Wait until then to iron out the details. Whatever is being put on the table now should reap plenty of recognition right around November’s Full Moon.

Horoscopes for September 22 - 28 2008

*don't forget to read for your rising sign too!*

ARIES: Mercury’s Retrograde through Libra will be bringing echoes of things you were experiencing or feeling at the beginning of the month. Venus moving out of that same sign, your opposite sign, means you’ll be seeing it wasn’t about the love stuff after all. Think about where you’re getting a taste of your own medicine. Your Mars ruler makes you assertive, sometimes even aggressive. Something in your life is doing its best to show you how others can sometimes see this behavior as domineering, even pushy.
Mars hooks up with Mercury just before the Retrograde, giving you an extra push toward learning this lesson.

TAURUS: Venus, the planet that rules you, is moving into Scorpio, your opposite sign. This could mean a shift in one or more areas of your life – not necessarily subtle, and most likely sparked by a person or event that comes from the outside in. Be prepared to see shadows and secrets in the coming days, and possible competition when Mars joins Venus in Scorpio next week. Mercury Retrograde is slowing down information and confusing communication for all of us until the end of October, so remember it’s likely you won’t have all the information you need to process what’s happening until then. Do the best you can with what you’ve got, and remember more facts are on their way.

GEMINI: Again with the Mercury Retrograde. Gemini, being ruled by Mercury, is able to handle this weather more adeptly than most, but the planet’s merger with Mars just as it changes direction means this could be a bigger deal than you’re used to. Words gone wrong are likely and misunderstandings are liable to lead to something that doesn’t have to be nearly as dramatic as we’re making it. A repeat nod from Neptune at the end of the week could have you trying to escape into the bottle or the boredom. The good news is the Sun’s move into a fellow air sign: for the next four weeks, you’ll have plenty of friends to back you up.

CANCER: Today’s Autumnal Equinox brings the Sun’s move into a challenging sign just as the Moon is at home in yours. You’re likely to have more social obligations than you’d prefer over the next few weeks and Mercury’s Retrograde means they turn out to be the kind where nothing goes as planned. Get ready for dates and appointments that resolve themselves in ways that are completely unexpected. Venus moving into a fellow Water sign means nicer vibes in the love department. Whatever the world’s throwing at you from the outside, you still have a soft place to fall.

LEO: Something you’ve been avoiding or neglecting is knocking, very loudly, on your door. As the Sun moves into Libra and Mercury retraces its own steps there, this should become better than obvious. The more you avoid confrontations, the more they haunt you down. Get ready to run into other people who can be just as stubborn as you. Mere nuisances could grow into troublesome power struggles, so make sure to show your generous side, even in the most heated of conversations. By next Monday’s New Moon, everyone will be remembering how well you handled yourself.

VIRGO: The big issues reach a new point this week, although not necessarily a resolution. Your Mercury ruler blends its energies with the force of Mars and the fog of Neptune right as it changes direction. That means this time will be full of action, but also uncertainty. You’re taking different sorts of steps into situations you’ve already seen. The Sun moving on from your sign to Libra means the spotlight is off and you’re free to find your footing without anyone looking over your shoulder. Be ready for a whole lot of emotion this weekend when you finally feel safe enough to breathe a sigh of relief.

LIBRA: Your Venus ruler leaves your sign for Scorpio just as the Sun moves in. Now is the time to make sure you’re doing the real thing and not just a dramatic interpretation. You’ve been working hard to create an image you think someone is expecting, when all that you are beneath the surface is exactly what they’re looking for. Make sure you’re not putting your energy into useless fantasies this week when Mercury turns Retrograde at the height of your sign. Next Monday’s New Moon in Libra brings the brand new chapter you’ve been waiting to see. Happy Birthday!

SCORPIO: Venus enters your sign for the next four weeks, giving your normally reserved self more gumption to get out and around, and a graceful dose of charm gets thrown into your already magnetic mix. For Scorpio, fall of 2008 is about finding the connections you’ve been craving that will take you to even higher places than you’re hoping for. There’s opportunity all over the place to find more balanced relationships, especially the romantic kind. You have the rare feeling of being comfortable with the power you have over others, instead of shying away from it.

SAGITTARIUS: Step out into the light. There are opportunities everywhere, but they’re not as obvious or easy as one would prefer. This week is good for looking wherever you can for the things and situations you’re craving, as well as looking beneath the surface of what you already do have. There’s a good chance you’ve been seeing something all wrong. Mercury’s Retrograde in a friendly Air sign will be bringing you chances to redecorate your perspective all over the place. By next week’s New Moon on Monday you’ll know exactly how to start fresh, and where.

CAPRICORN: You can quietly go about your business for the next several weeks, just the way you like it. Use Mercury’s Retrograde in a challenging sign step back and straighten things out in places where you’re the one in charge. You’re more than happy to take some time away from the hustle bustle to methodically perfect details the way only you can in order to reach your sky high standards. The more you keep at your own good work, without letting outside confusion affect you, the more you’ll create situations where you meet the kind of people who exceed your expectations and more.

AQUARIUS: You’re looking for genuine experiences that help you define yourself better to yourself, situations that show you who you are and what you can bring to the table. During Mercury’s Retrograde in a fellow Air sign you’ll be catching glimpses of knowledge you’ve already begun to master coming from the outside in. Don’t let any synchronicity go unnoticed; things really are trying to tell you something. The Sun’s move into Libra brings a surge of activity to your everyday world. By next week’s New Moon in the same sign, you’ll be making connections all over the place.

PISCES: Mercury’s backwards moves bring another supportive angle with your Neptune ruler, helping you put what you’ve been imagining into words and pictures. The next few weeks could bring old projects and ideas back out of the woodwork. Don’t be surprised if you find a forgotten snapshot, an old notebook, or something you’ve saved that brings exactly what you need to be inspired at this moment. It’s also not unlikely that you’ll hear from people from your long ago past. Venus moving into a fellow Water sign brings creativity and a more simpatico mood to your everyday. Use the energy and you’ll be seeing results by the end of October.

Horoscopes for September 15 - 21 2008

***If you know your Rising Sign read that as well***

ARIES: Cooperation vs. competition. Somebody else is stealing the show. You’re a major part of the picture, but right now you’re wishing the spotlight was directly on you. This week is about learning how we all shine on. That means You, Her, Him, and the rest of us too. Find a way to appreciate and even revere the things those around you are being noticed for and you’ll find a way to be a thousand times more secure about yourself. The more opportunities you take to exercise your compassion, the more cooperation you’ll have from the outside community in the coming weeks while Mercury is Retrograde.

TAURUS: Too much talk, not enough proof. All of the things that bother you the most about other people could be on overdrive this week: you’re hearing truckloads of empty promises and seeing a few too many facades. The more you can look in your own direction, the more you’ll fully realize the opportunity you’re being given. Think about what you can do for yourself and yourself alone. Projects like this are what will keep you happiest right now as well as give you a renewed, much needed, and profound sense of personal accomplishment.

GEMINI: The trick is to dive into your creative impulses absolutely as much as you can while remembering to take care of your responsibilities at the same time. A happy exchange between imaginative Neptune and a cluster of planets in the other two Air signs is giving you plenty of support as far as being inspired and coming up with a million new things to say. At the same time, the heavy planets lurking in your fellow Mutable signs are doing their best to stymie your freedom. Enjoy all that you’re thinking and feeling while keeping a lid on the things that must stay straight. This is crucial when your Mercury Ruler is about to turn Retrograde. Any neglected priorities won’t stay quiet for long.

CANCER: The more you look for faults the more you’ll find them. You’re seeing things in every corner that aren’t quite up to your standards, and somehow turning all of this into a reflection of your character. The best thing you can do this week is separate yourself from other people’s chaos and concentrate on the things that exist in your own domain. You’re preparing for a time when you’ll either be rewarded for your ability to adjust or tested with even more instability. The Sun’s move into challenging Libra next week, along with Mercury’s reversal in the same sign will be giving you even more chances to prove your endurance. Step up.

LEO: The choice is yours. You’re being asked to pick one of two very distinct directions. There’s the exciting way, the one that leads to things to do and the people to meet, but with no sense of security or promise. Then there’s the other way, the slower way, where you can get used to the place you are now in order to discover a truer sense of power. Remember that whatever makes you stronger is worth everything in the end. While your first option seems much more your style, the second will give you something you very much need in order to survive the rest of the year.

VIRGO: It’s all about determination. Saturn remains in your sign until 2009, increasing your resoluteness about forming foundations and drawing boundaries. You’ve become accustomed to, even happy about the discipline. You’ve also become a little too used to a dull feeling of dread, and these days you basically expect to hear disruptive, even negative news around every corner. Today’s Full Moon could bring the last of the shadows out of the woodwork for a time. The more you can face them, the taller you’ll be able to stand. Remember to focus on what power you actually have and you’ll be that much more able to use it next week, when your Mercury ruler turns Retrograde.

LIBRA: The question is what’s real and what’s delusion. Planets in your sign are working with Neptune to expose more than one situation that just seems too good to be true. There’s pleasure and parading all over the place, but do your best not to make any significant commitments for the next six weeks. Mercury turning Retrograde in your sign next Wednesday means you’ll be gathering much more information in the coming days, and this will make you that much more prepared to make the right decision. Enjoy the new developments and know that the action won’t be dying down any time soon. Next week, the Sun moves into Libra.

SCORPIO: You have the ability to see past the faces people show and down to what they’re trying to cover up. This is just part of who you are, and not something you necessarily welcome or resist, but this week your intuitions about people will be so prevalent you’ll be questioning your impressions instead of trusting what you’ve always known for sure. The trick is to remember that it’s about you not them. The things you’re picking up on are showing you how you’re able to adjust your own behavior to get cooperation and support from the rest of us. Bring on the compassion: it’s a side of yourself that’s good to remember every once in a while.

SAGITTARIUS: Eyes wide open. Today’s Full Moon in Pisces is unveiling new directions and windows that will change everything about the way you process what you experience. Be prepared to take chances and well thought out gambles when you meet an opportunity you just can’t miss. Pleasantries from friendly signs are bringing a much more inviting vibe to your everyday routine, and you’re feeling more hopeful than you’ve been able to in weeks. You’re seeing big possibilities; just remember to let situations take the time they need to gel. You’ve set your intentions, now sit back and have faith.

CAPRICORN: People you work with or see on a day-to-day basis have their collective heads in the clouds or up their ass and it’s challenging your sense of foundation. Whatever exasperation you’re feeling now could turn into downright disgust in the next few weeks so it’s important to stay aware of the places you’re choosing conservation over compassion. Capricorn likes a steady and predictable path, but this week is more about detours and drama. Misunderstandings are inevitable. Remember to take nothing too personally or too seriously and you’ll get past the weather with ease. Venus moving into friendlier territory next week will put a much better spin on the love stuff.

AQUARIUS: Inspiration all over the place. Chances are you’ve been having revelations and brilliant ideas of one kind or another. The best use of your energy for the rest of this month requires turning your thoughts into something tangible. Focus and you’ll find you’re at your creative best. Much of the action up in the sky this week is directed at Neptune in your sign. Look out for situations that test your ability to tell the difference between the way things just are and what you really want to see. The more you’re aware of actual facts, the more you’ll get out of the lessons. Mercury turning Retrograde in a fellow Air sign next week will give you plenty of chances to get it straight.

PISCES: You’re past the worst of it. Today’s Full Moon at the height of your sign is shining a light on the successes you’ve scored in the past few weeks. All of a sudden you realize you’ve gotten this far in all the right ways. Neptune, the planet that rules you, is surrounded by activity all week long, bringing you extra communication with all sorts of new and interesting people. Be your most genuine self and you’ll surpass all of their expectations. Whatever power struggles you’re sensing from around the neighborhood or at work will have worked themselves out by the end of the month. You’ll be picking up on prettier vibes as soon as next week when Venus the Grace moves into a fellow water sign.

Horoscopes for September 8 - 14 2008

ARIES: Ants in your pants. Mars, the planet that rules your sign, is getting a visit from both Mercury and Venus all week long. This could be stirring up stories and scenes, especially the kind about the love stuff. Put yourself in someone else’s shoes. Your perception of a certain situation has nothing to do with reality. The issues are hitting so close to home you’re having a hard time remembering to stop and listen to another point of view. The more you can separate the facts from your personal feelings, the more you’ll avoid turning an exaggerated perception into an exaggerated situation.

TAURUS: Sigh of relief. Things go so well for you this week that you’re likely to lose yourselves in luxury. Venus, the planet that rules you, is teaming up with both chatty Mercury and bold Mars all week long – giving you extra doses of interaction with others and the energy to get it all done. You’re also well supported by Jupiter and Saturn in fellow earth signs giving you the chance to show off your talents and experience. Keep your head on straight and you’ll be that much better off at the end of the month when Mars and Venus move into Scorpio, your opposite sign.

GEMINI: Venus and Mars hooking up with your Mercury ruler in a fellow Air sign is giving you plenty of entertainment via other people’s tales to tell. You’re seeing so many new faces to the left and the right now that certain Geminis could be falling in love or something like it every other day of the week. Remember that anything that gets started these days is liable to repeat itself and make no promises that you can’t keep. Wait until next week before making any sort of commitment: the Full Moon in Pisces is about to reveal something you definitely need to know.

CANCER: Sensitive Cancers will be picking up on the subtle power of Pluto as it turns Direct and starts making its way toward your opposite sign for a 16 year stay. You’re more aware than even you realize of the major shifts in your lifestyle that are about to happen in the next chapter. All of this could be exacerbated by the confusing, even frustrating behavior you’re surrounded by. Let other people test boundaries as much as they must and remember to take none of it personally. Next week’s Full Moon in a fellow Water sign will shine a light on whatever really needs changing and you’ll start to get your groove back just in time for the weekend.

LEO: You’re inviting some kind of disruptive energy into your life right now. Take some time out to think about ways you’ve left yourself open or unprotected against unfamiliar weather that might seem interesting, or even exotic, but is all about shaking your foundation in the end. This is also a good week to look at where you’re unprepared for gigantic changes. Your Sun ruler’s face off with a planet that represents everything unpredictable could bring an epic development that will change all the rules from here on out. The good news is, the next few weeks will be absolutely anything but boring.

VIRGO: You’ve reached a new level of authority in one or more areas of your life this Birthday season. Enjoy your newfound ability to develop and delegate for all its worth but don’t get too comfortable just yet. This weekend’s tug of war between the Sun in your sign and the planet Uranus is all about bringing something very unexpected to the surface. This is just a preview of the major changes that will be confronting you all next year. Remember that you’re well prepared, and be ready for absolutely anything. Whatever you’re still unsure about this weekend should shine out crystal clear as soon as next Monday’s Full Moon in your opposite sign.

LIBRA: Be careful of going too far. With so many planets in your sign you’re all about constant motion, but a challenge from Jupiter is inclining you toward excess. This week you could find yourself learning the lesson about too much of a good thing. Look for ways this has become a pattern in your relationships as well as your motives. You’re feeling too comfortable to question your own intentions but doing just that will bring you an even stronger foundation to stand on. Mercury’s retrograde in your sign at the end of the month will be bringing you all sorts of reminders about who you really are at heart. It’s not always about making the other side happy.

SCORPIO: This year is all about pushing you toward establishing something. This could be about your reputation, or the way others see you, but chances are you’re following up on a deal you made with yourself and yourself alone. A surge of much needed energy starts off the week as your Pluto ruler gets back to forward motion. Look for issues that developed in the first half of the year to revisit you again now that you’re much better prepared to deal with them. If you’ve been feeling at all hopeless make sure and hold out for the weekend when the world gets back to cooperating with you. Next Monday’s Full Moon in Pisces brings you recognition for all the waves of emotion you’ve been braving.

SAGITTARIUS: If you go straight to where the good times are, you’re likely to go way too far. The best moves this week are work wise. As much as that’s never fun for a free spirited Sagittarius, keep in mind that the more you can get squared away now, the more time you’ll have for the better stuff later. There’s also a good chance the work you’re doing involves other people and this week you’re able to access deep reserves of concentration and discipline in ways that benefit them as well as you. Focus on the good of the whole and you’ll soon be rewarded in ways that are infinitely better than whatever you’d be doing just to procrastinate.

CAPRICORN: You’ve been feeling like something’s missing. Everyday challenges are leaving you exhausted and experiencing that emptiness at a higher level than your practical self normally would. Rest assured Pluto’s gradual move back into your sign is filling up the space and pushing you in a more powerful direction. Keeping your eyes on the big picture helps calm any anticipation. A friendly move from your Saturn ruler toward Jupiter brings the chance for some big experiences. The more you can be open and available to creative energy this week, the more likely you’ll be to find inspiration where in the past you could only see frustration. Make the mundane into magic.

AQUARIUS: Part of being an Aquarius includes being all too aware of the things that make you completely different from everybody else. Be prepared this week for the misfit side of you to get some unexpected attention. Your best defense is to stand proud behind everything and anything that make you who you are. You’re being given opportunities left and right to fit in better than you ever have before. If you can see how well you’re being accepted, you’ll be that much more able to accept yourself. Trust that your differences are what make you a necessary and important part of the whole. The themes that sprout up this week will be in full force for most of 2009: you’re being noticed for a reason.

PISCES: What’s changing about you? You’re in the midst of making some fairly epic adjustments in the way you carry yourself and perceive the world around you. Take some time this week to get to know how and where you’re growing. Be honest. The more familiar you are with yourself the easier things will be when more and more people start to notice the differences about you in the coming days. This week starts out slow but the action will escalate as we approach next Monday’s Full Moon in your sign. By this time next week you’ll be the center of attention. This isn’t as intimidating as it could sound to Pisces, who prefer to be behind the scenes. It’s more about bringing you closer to people who can help you get where you’re going. Trust your intuition.

Horoscopes for September 1 - 7, 2008

**If you know your Rising Sign, make sure and read that too!**

ARIES: You like to be part of all the action, if not the inspiration behind it. If you’re feeling isolated this week, use the downtime as opportunity. Catching up on your correspondence will bring you more satisfaction than whatever party you think you’re missing. It’s also a good week for practicing your perseverance: Aries has a habit of starting things they never finish. They’re the idea people, coming up with more plans than they’ll ever have the time to implement. The energy is there this week to tie up loose ends on something you’ve been meaning to put out in the world and get it out there.
If you’ve been bottling up or letting something get to you good, now is when it’s likely to come flooding out like you just can’t help it. Watch your temper.

TAURUS: The Sun’s hookup with strict Saturn in a fellow earth sign is pushing you to complete all your responsibilities, no matter how lazy you’re feeling. This doesn’t have you in the best of moods, so it’s important to look at how what you need to do helps the people around you and not at how it takes away from what you want to do. If you can change your perspective, you’ll be able to make meaning out of this week’s experiences in a way that you’ll keep for a long time to come. If not, you’re prone to procrastination, especially by means of the drink or the gossip, the bite or even the credit card. For the next few weeks, pleasant distractions have a way of turning into benders. Keep your eyes on the prize.

GEMINI: The sign of the Twins is well known for having two distinct sides to their personality and right now it’s all about the rebel vs. the rules. Part of you just wants to do the right thing and the other part wants nothing but absolute freedom. Your always busy thoughts are breaking speed limits and it’s likely you’re distracting yourself with too many people to see and things to do. Just make sure you’re not talking so much you miss the point entirely. Someone or something you encounter this week has an important key that will help you find your balance, so it’s important to hear and see what’s going on around you. Keep a close eye on your commitments: anything neglected is likely to come back and haunt you later this month when your Mercury ruler turns Retrograde.

CANCER: Wait it out. Right now is a good time to take a step back and concentrate only on what absolutely needs to happen, rather than pushing yourself in a hundred directions. As the week begins, you just don’t have the energy. Wait until Wednesday afternoon, when you’ll really be ready to get things done. Even then, c
oncentrate on things you can do from your home base. People and circumstances all around you are creating drama it would be all too easy to get caught up in. You’re never a fan of the power struggle, but often a willing participant. Look especially for a repeat episode of something you experienced midsummer as Jupiter turns direct in your opposite sign. Best to stay in your nest, or anyplace where your authority will not be questioned.

LEO: Wednesday’s merger between the Sun that rules you and brass-tacks Saturn has you feeling stuck and stymied. You’re more about creativity than cracking down, but the best use of this energy is finding a way to combine the two. Discipline isn’t your strongest feature, but you’ll be able to tap into deep reserves of it all month as long as this is your intention. The Sun’s friendly nod toward big-moves Jupiter later in the week means whatever you do accomplish could bring more acknowledgement and respect than you’ve ever imagined. Whether you’re working with paint, poetry, or pretty things, the more you establish during the week, the more fun you’ll have after Saturday, when the Moon moves into a fellow fire sign and things get a whole lot more friendly.

VIRGO: The Sun/Saturn conjunction happens smack in the middle of your sign, making you even more of a taskmaster than usual. You’re all about discriminating between right and wrong, passable and perfect, but this is a good time to look at how the ways you judge others mirror the ways you judge yourself. This could lead to an epic breakthrough, one that enables you to make magic out of even the mundane. Left untapped, you’re liable to see circumstances and situations through exaggerated eyes this week – keep a check on your perceptions. Your Mercury ruler turns Retrograde later in the month for the third and final time of the year. Any misunderstandings you encounter right now are more than likely to repeat themselves.

LIBRA: You’re experiencing everything at a much deeper level than usual right now, and surrounded by constant activity. Most of the inner planets visiting your sign lead to mountains of emails to reply to, phone calls to return and dates to keep. Luckily, you’re also being given the grace and the energy to do it all. Libra is nothing if not polite and up to the task and the sky is giving us all a dose of manners at the moment, making things more likely to go your way than not. This will be especially helpful this weekend, when old dramas resurface with a vengeance. Whatever’s changed about you over the summer ensures that this time around, you’re going to get it right. Pay attention to the beginning of the week: whatever happens Monday and Tuesday is indicative of things you’ll be seeing and repeating for the rest of the month.

SCORPIO: Tying up so many loose ends from the past has been questionable to you lately, but it’s important to know that the work you’re doing now is going to pay off before the month is over. Midweek supplies just the right combination of energy to help you concentrate on whatever it is you’ve been putting off. This includes the personal and social as well as the work stuff. You’re becoming fed up with delusion all while becoming more and more attracted to people who do it their very own genuine way. Your emotions run deep and you’re being given the opportunity to let people close to you see that for themselves. Letting others see more of your weaknesses makes you more tolerant of theirs. You won’t be sorry.

SAGITTARIUS: Things have been going at a slower pace than you’d prefer all summer long. Sure you’ve had some epic shake-ups, but even those didn’t get the action moving for you on a day-to-day level. That’s all about to change when your Jupiter ruler gets back to forward motion this weekend. In the meantime, do your best to keep your attention with your priorities. This workweek brings too many things to take care of and too many things you’d rather do instead. The more you resist, the more you’re liable to make mistakes that will only create more mountains to climb in the weeks ahead. You’ll have some frustrating moments, but don’t let this come out in your interactions with others. An aggressive move from Mercury Sunday night could put the focus on words you’ve said all wrong.

CAPRICORN: It’s all about making adjustments. A string of planets in Libra are challenging you to fix whatever’s not working in your present situation so that you can keep your feet on the mountain. Look especially for opportunities or necessities that involve standing up for what you believe in in order to to get things done. Mercury testing your sign from Libra could have you fighting over who’s the boss or how things have been phrased and the Sun’s merger with your Saturn ruler makes you the center of attention. Luckily, Jupiter’s return to forward motion at the height of your sign this weekend will give you surplus doses of energy and a renewed sense of optimism. In the meantime, rise to the occasion as only a Capricorn can and remember how much your example says to the rest of us.

AQUARIUS: Your week starts out on a good note, turns challenging, and ends in all the right ways. The personal planets in friendly Libra are giving you much more access to the outside world, something you’ve needed generous doses of since summer began. Take the opportunity to get out and make as many new contacts as possible, several of them are more than likely to turn out friends. As Neptune travels through your sign it’s important to collect the perspectives and knowledge of others to weigh against your own overly idealistic ideas, especially while the planet stays Retrograde. Any kind of volunteer work or service is a brilliant idea that will fill your heart while at the same time showing you something completely different.

PISCES: If you’re not feeling the weight of the world, chances are everyone around you is. The Sun/Saturn connection in your opposite sign is all about getting us back to business after a long hot summer, but the anxiety and worry we’re feeling about that could be messing with your constitution. Sensitive Pisces picks up on absolutely everything. As always these days, when in doubt, consider what you normally would never do, and the benefits of that particular action. Consider it yet another lesson in empathy, and know that in just a few days you’ll be taking in vibes of luck and joy when friendly Jupiter returns to forward motion. Do your best to complete outstanding tasks during the workweek; this weekend is all about staying home with what you know and love.
